Sounds like you broke something with the updates, you meed need to use Safe Mode or "Last known good"
There is no simple and easy way to tell you what is currently broken.
If it were me? I'd step back and buy the Recovery DVDs from HP then move forward from there.
hi there i m having problems with my ts iq510 uk to cut a long story short i got this thing without the ts software and having posted on this site under advice from members to install the updates from hp support once i did half of them did not install and now when i boot up all i get is a black screen it goes blue with options then black and nothing happens at all i have left it for over an hour now and still no icons i dont have the backup discs...
any suggestions would be appreciated//
