In general laptop screens are not an easy hack in to being displays, google on "convert laptop display" or similar, but it's one of those things that if your'e asking, it's probably harder than you're comfortable with.
Unfortunately my TX2 went the way of the infamous black screen a few months and I couldn't be bothered to fix it only for it to break again (which I had read happens) so I decided to abondon it and buy a new laptop.
Anyway, now I am looking to make the most of the great (slightly broken) tech that I have lying around, and I'm looking to dismantle the laptop components and hopefully attach the screen to another computer and use it as a second touchscreen monitor.
Does anyone have any experience of this and would be able to give me some tips?
Thanks in advance.
The part that makes touch interaction is an usb device and is connected in to an usb port inside the computer but as has been said the display is hard to know how to pug-it in to other computer because there are a lot of standards of transmitting the video signals to the display but if you find how to do it that would be awesome.
