Hello abalerv: Wellcome to the forum. I belive you want to sign documets. No problem scan document or aleast get it into your computer. 1st. Step is open up document. Press your print screen key. 3rd open up paint. 4 click paste your screen shot will appear. Now you can do anything like draw add stuff, and hand write on it. Save file as jpeg file. When you go to print it out use you picture tools to trim off all extra stuff that was added from your computer screen shot so you are left with only documet veiw and print check your printers settings make sure they are set at standard papper size and not at 6" x 4" photo size. This is one way to do it. I think they have a writing pen on the market also I seen advertisements for it but I know nothing about them.So much new stuff is on the market now.Good luck.
Hi All
I am new here and I hope I can get some help! I have developed an Access database and essentially what I want to be able to do is for the user to handwrite his/her signatre to confirm their agreement with the terms and conditions. I found exactly what I wanted here
but alas, their system doesn't work with HP touchsmart (I tried :-) ). The beauty of their system is that it captures the signature as a memo file so it takes up a lot less space than a picture.
So any suggestions here on what I could use to capture handwritten signatures into an Access form...
many thanks!
A
hi fred
Appreciate you getting back to me. My issue is that the users I have will not do that :-) What I need is something which will easily capture the handwritten signature and add it to the database in a format that can't be changed i.e. signature handwritten, press Save and it's captured. I found an app from Topaz Systems that worked exactly as I wanted with Access but alas, it doesn't work with the HP Touchsmart. That's why I wanted to see if someone has something I could buy/use with the database... thanks again for your help though. Anne
