I tried all day to get two webcam programs installed and Vista wouldn't let the drivers be installed.  I tried the command line that's supposed to turn off that protection.  Didn't work.  I tried a program that's supposed to make it turn off, still didn't do it.  Turned off Windows Defender.  Tried safe mode, tried manual install, nothing worked.  Anyone have any solutions for this that do work on IQ816?  I've got SP1 on here.

Right click on install exe file and choose "Run as administrator". Might be that they are not installing because they are for 32bit OS only though.
Which programs are you trying to install?
If I'm not mistaken, 64 bit Windows will NOT allow installation of unsigned drivers.

I was trying for WebCamMax and Magic Camera. But WebCamMax's own site says it's not compatible with Vista 64, so I'm assuming Magic Camera isn't as well. Waste of alot of hours trying. I am really starting to be annoyed with 64.
