The Touchsmart Software calendar is useless to me since it appears only to be able to sync with Google calendar. It would be nice to be able to have it sync with my Mailstret exchange calendar.
That is a good idea - I'm sure it'd be useful for a lot of people; if you have a Google account, however, you could set it up to sync with Outlook (check it out here). I haven't tried it myself, but you might find that this is a viable workaround possibility. TS would sync with Google, and Google would sync with your Outlook, which would (presumably) be saved to your Exchange server.

Hi Swhsimon!
Due to some complexity in syncing, the TouchSmart Calendar application creates its own calendar under your Google calendar, called HP TouchSmart Calendar. TouchSmart Calendar will sync with this calendar within Google Calendar. You'll find the various calendars Google has on the left hand side under the title "My Calendars". You must add any events you want the TouchSmart to receive within this calendar - any events in your other calendars will not be synced.

Thank You Andrew! You get the "Answer" check mark. I opened up my google calendar and there it was my "touchsmart calendar". This has been one feature that has been driving me crazy.
EDIT: OK, tried it out and added my class schedule to my touchsmart calendar in my google calendar and got an error message that the event could not be loaded. So, I started up the touchsmart program and went back to my google calendar and the appointments were there (on google). It *appears* that TS must be running if you are going to add events to your google calendar. Once I got everything entered I performed a sync and it all crossed over into my TS calendar.
So, some may ask why not enter the data into the TS calendar to begin with? My Answer - It's a lot easier to enter the data into the google calendar and then sync. :-)

Rob, that *may* be possible. I assume you use Outlook, right? If you do, then use the Google calendar sync tool (downlaodable from google labs) to sync outlook which would be synced with exchange, with your google account, which in turn would be synced with your touchsmart.
Of course it would be very nice to have that feature built right in though.

Hmm, I gave it a try and nothing happened on the TouchSmart side.
I did get 1 home computer to upload to google from outlook and yet the ThouchSmart did not create a new google calender.
I did try and use the windows calender thats running behind the TouchSmart but that can't sync with the google one. Seems that if you download the google sync program, it don't work on the TS computer.
I wish I could just Sync across my home network.

Downloaded the new patches & now the Touchsmart did create the google calender. But it does not sync anything to or from the HP TouchSmart calender.
To get TS to work with your default main google calendar simply rename the calendar to HP TouchSmart Calendar
