Did you try to move the list of tiles in the Personalize around to see if the Music one is "grayed out"? You can move the list left and right the same way you scroll the tiles on the TouchSmart home page. If Music is grayed out, tap the larger part of the button to turn it back on (it'll become highlighted in a blue shade).
I just had this for a few weeks, and I saw the various tiles, and one of them was "music".
We have used various components of HP TouchSmart software. However, one day I went to pull up the Music tile. I didn't see it so I assumed it was down in the lower row of icons. It was not in either top or bottom row.
So the tile is gone. Was it somehow de-installed?? How can I get it back?
I thought maybe I should try to "Add a Tile". But that didn't get me anywhere...

My music tile has gone.
I reinstalled touchmart music/dvd/photo. Nothing
Uninetalled Touchsmart,
reinstalled Touchsmart and music.
Eureka.
Applied an HP update for the applications -
gone.
I give in. No idea.
