Can the HP IQ 816 browse the web by touch?  Instead of clicking "buttons" with the mouse, can you just touch the button to navigate?  Is there any information on this subject on line?

Yes, you can actually browse with touch. If you want to use your finger to navigate web pages and scroll up and down, click on the little hand symbol next to your home button in IE7 (or IE8 if you are using it) that enables touch scroll.

Swiping your finger towards the left initiates a "back" command which takes you to your previous page (which is why I am now editing my post...LOL). Sweeping your finger to the right is the same as clicking "forward".

Another question, how can I connect the HP IQ816 to a projector? There is no VGA or S Video output connection.

Sorry Lee. As you pointed out, there's no video-out on the TouchSmarts. You'll be unable to connect it to a projector.

Actually, there are some USB to VGA adapters that may work. MAtrox makes a "twinhead" "triple head" but they are somewhat expensive and the bandwidth that USB puts out will only be able to display static images rather than video.

I have a IQ804 it has a s-video port.
