Does anyone keep getting this error message on the HP TOUCH? I have the IQ815, then after awhile the computer slows down or freezes up completely afraid to download any thing of importance on this PC. Brought one back already 'cause it kept freezing up, called HP help on this problem and they said its because I'm running 32-bit programs and that the computer only uses 64-bit-OK so i removed all 32-bit program s(except the 2-3 that came with PC)It's been a week now and here we go again slowing down and begining to freeze-maybe I should have bought an Apple

Hi Frank!

It is definitely not that you have 32-bit programs on a 64-bit OS. Sorry HP Support confused you there.

You may try looking at this post to see if it is helpful. They have some solutions for this error message. Let us know if it works out for you.

Usually the only 32 bit programs that have problms with 64 bit are antivirus and utility programs. All others should be ok and work within the 64bit OS without any problems.

If you try to install a 32 bit program that is not 64bit compatable, you will usually get a warning message and not be able to go any further.

I see this message often. I simply ignore it and have seen no effects caused by it. I have a iq826t model.
