There is the possibility that the hard drive has failed, I'd physically remove it and test it in another PC.
My computer runs the boot process in DOS and gives me the option of pressing F10 for the Startup menu. The 1st Drive is designated as none and I have the Multimedia Master CD and the Recovery Disks. It will not get past the DOS setup and then I get the message 'Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Bopot Media in selected Boot device and press a key'. When I enter the Recovery Disk it states 'No hard disk found. System Restore cannot be continued! Press a key to continue'. Can someone please help me fix this problem? I mean I really didn't want to delete my entire hard drive, but now that I have made peace with it all and bought the recovery disks to do it, I still can't use my Touchsmart.
