Do you hear beeping as if someone has touched the screen? of so something else may be interfering with the ir emitters they use for touch.
My touchscreen (HP TouchSmart 600) has gone crazy.
Without touching anything on screen or keyboard, it toggles between the working window and showing all open windows on the desktop. It's getting almost impossible to work.
Of course my warranty and service contract have recently run out, so I'm trying to find a way to resolve this on my own. I rarely use the touchscreen and could live without it if there's a way to turn it off. Or, if someone has an idea of what I might do to make this problem go away, I would be very, very grateful.

Nope. No beeping. The screen just suddenly toggles between my working window and having a whole bunch of little screen shot type windows. But thanks for trying.

well if it's not beeping, then it's most likely not the touch screen causing the issues, what happens if you turn the wireless kbd and mouse off and just test with a USB keyboard?
