You need to look at the audio driver/control panel to see if you have that option, I wouldn't hold out hope since the specs show only 2-channel audio available.
i have read that you may be able to get a spdif audio out connection though a headphone out with a toshlink 3.5mm cable i have a new HP610 1031F and it has only a 3.5 mm audio out on the back and one side compared to my other HPiq816 that has a coaxe out . can i confifure the 3.5mm out to get this to work so i can hook up my 5.1 speakers
