Same Result as Gnome.


I don't use the outlook inside this touchSmartPC, I just want to use the TouchSmart Calender only.

But I never try download the Google Calender Syn-Installer ..

HaHa.... TouchSmart from Autistic Synchronization become Overbearing after your encourage .

The Key point is TS only Autistically Syn in it's own world (Calendar) , it only talk ( send and receive ) in his own world ( TS PC's Calendar vs Google's TS Calendar )

TS never consider to know What already exist ! ( e.g existed others calendar , shared Calendar from 3th party ,.... )

It really limited the big adventage of Google's Share Calendar function.

Share Calendar is a very good function . For me, I can check Google Calendar and know my colleague's Schedule and no need check in office's notice board.

At the beginning, I hope I can watch my existed Main Calendar , 3th party people's Calendar...
Now ALL Fail ...

It's is Meaningless and Useless of using TS calendar for me .



More, I still don't TS originally design idea . This TS calendar only generate a thing in Web and only talk within it but Cannot Know something exist .

People Should have Google Calendar firstly Then want to use TS to Check it .

Now ,Cannot read the exist thing.
So, What is their Design Logic ???????? I don't understand !

Result :
Nothing happen, just Numeric different

a. :C again
b. disappointed again
c. Upset increase

Does your Google account password have special characters in it? Mine did, and nothing worked, but then, on a hunch, I changed my password to just letters and numbers and I got the HP calendar in google and sync'ing worked.

Just to clarify, it was by password that had special characters in it. Another thing to try is to completely remove the setup, choose none for the calendar provider, close Touchsmart software (ctrl-shift-close button), then start touchsmart and enter the info again. I also found that it took about 5 minutes before the Touchsmart calendar finally showed up in google. Not sure what the delay was.

One of the things I noticed is that when you create a calendar event in your google calendar there is a drop down list in the create appointment box where you have to choose which calendar you want to create the appointment in. Unfortunately the default IS NOT the Touchsmart Calendar so you have to pull it from the dropdown list.

I did that for each of my appointments and they synced to my touchsmar calendar.

If you created them in your regular google calendar, you can edit the appointment and switch it to the Touchsmart calendar and save it. It should then cross over.
