check out pinnacle's USB HDTV tuner. they have a small one the size of a USB thumbdrive and supposedly have ATSC and clear QAM tuners.
I'm regretting that I didn't get the 506 with the tuner. Is it possible to add a tv tuner like the one in the 506.

I am in the same boat, I saw the thumbdrive for 99.00, but does it have media center?

the touchsmart has the media center software.
also, today hpshopping.com has the 20% Live.com cashback promo. so you can get the external USB tuner for 20% less.
