I purchased an Touchsmart not too long ago. I have the Vist Home Premium Edition on it. After about a month of using it, I decided to run RegCure on my machine. RegCure found over 23,000 problems with the machine. When I told RegCure to fix the problems; It did. However, my machine didn't work after that. I had to go through a complete recovery.
Is this a problem with Vista?
Is this a problem with RegCure not working correctly with Vista?
Anyone else have that problem?

I avoid registry cleaners like the plague. The registry is a complex repository for all kinds of settings about every program and feature on your PC. No registry cleaner is capable of knowing which are the most optimum or ideal settings and every combination of them to effectively work.
So, the problem is more than likely NOT vista but I would say definitely RegClean.
