Is there a program out there that works like Outlook express but that doesn't put everything on one computer? I have something like 6-7 e-mail accounts and would like to put them all in one place but I don't want all the documents on one computer I'd like for the inbox and sent files to stay in their respective places. Is this something that already exists or something that is close to what you are talking about? Obviously making it touch integrated would be nice too :-D
One of the first things I do every day is sit down and read all my emails (as this site grows, I get more and more post response emails every day). Anyway, I currently use windows live mail which is OK. The latest version is very slow and clunky. I also use Protopage as my start page and use the email widget on it to look at snippets of my gmail to see which ones I need to read right away.
I think an email panel for the Touchsmart program would be an awsome idea. We already have integration with gmail for the schedule panel why not for readin mail? I can also read RSS feeds but no mail...
I think an email panel would be the "killer app" for the Touchsmart!

Not that I know of but my solution that I just started doing was to forward all my emails to one of my single gmail accounts. I have it set up to forward and archive on each email. I then just log on to gmail and all my emails are in one inbox.
If I want to download the emails I use my Windows Live Mail to "sync" and download my mail as an option.
I though of creating a gmail tile using the browser tile and setting the tile address to my gmail but I'm using Win7 at the moment and the browser tile misbehaves a bit. That would make it touch friendly.

Update:
I just added a tile by choosing new tile under personalize and selected website then typed in the URL for my gmail. It opened up the TS browser and logged me in. Once logged in, I can go back to the TS main screen and my gmail shows up in a tile. Its not centered, but I think that has to do with Win7. Try it in Vista and see how it works.

not all of my address allow me to forward. :-\ Otherwise that would be a perfect solution. Guess I'll continue checking them one at a time till I think or find a better solution.
RSS

Well, I figured out a quick and dirty way of doing it...but I'd still like to see a specific app.
I created a new browser tile and named it email. I set the target as one of my gmail accounts and logged in and chose the option to keep me logged in (a gmail setting)
Then just created teh tile and now I have my inbox as a tile.
Hint: the default setting for the tile (and I think it is another gmail feature) was to default to simple settings. It looked kind of basic so I chose to use the advanced HTML and it looks much better.
