Hi I am a newbee to this computer only had it for a couple of days, please can anyone help? I would like to add windows mail and other programes to the touchsmart screen can this be done I have a IQ506

Yes, there should be a button labeled "Personalize" at the bottom right of the TouchSmart software (next to the Close button). There is a button labeled "Add a Tile..." on the Personalize page. You can use that to add another program to the TouchSmart software.

Also, if you want to add an item to the regular desktop, you can right-click on the program and select Send To => Desktop to create a shortcut.

Thank you for the advice. I have a lot to learn. I cannot seem to find the path to add Microsoft Mail to the path box

If yo do what geektieguy said and choose add a tile. Next choose program and tap on the next button. Tap on choose from a list and use your finger to scrool up and down through the list. Once you find windows live mail tap on it and click ok. Tap on ok again in the next window then once more.
The windows live mail icon will be in the lower bar of icons. You can use your finger to slide it up to the larger tiles. It will look like a big icon but clicking on it will open up windows live mail - however not in the touchsmart application, it will take you back to windows.
