I love my new computer but there are little things that bother me.  But four years of government service taught me that no one is happy unless they are complaining.  So here are my top five bitpicks with tis laptop.  What are yours?

 5. Remote Power Button

They included a very nice remote control, which fits conveniently in the EpressCard port. There is also a power button on the remote.  The power button  moves your computer into standby.  This makes sense if you only use it as a HTPC but I'd much rather the power button closes the dvd, music or powerpoint program I have open

 4. Multitouch

Don't get me wrong I love the multitouch capability.  Its the primary selling point of this laptop.  However  I can count all the gestures I can do on one hand! Pinch, zoom, rotate, and the special M.  Please give me more gestures

 3. The Pen

The tablet has 256 levels of pressure which would be adequate.  Sadly they do not have support for Photoshop or Painter.  Even though this laptop has been out for a while N-Trig has taken a stance where they expect Adobe and Corel to support them instead of the other way around.  There is no eraser at least not with the pen provided with the laptop

 2. Volume control

The speakers are fantastic.  So good infact you will often find yourself turning it down in public out of embarrassment, as you blast your local starbuck with your favorite Jonas Brothers Song.  Sadly, the buttons to mute and change volume and effective inaccessible when the laptop is converted into tablet mode.  Please put these buttons on the lid.

 1. Screen grain

The quality matte finish and is hard to read.  Some people notice it but some people don't.  Those of us who do notice it really hate it.  Lately I've been saying only those who are force sensitive can see it and that makes me feel a little better

Honorable Mention:  I showed my brother my tx2 with its unique pen and multitouch interface.  He takes one look at it and says, "This is the best mouse pad I have ever seen.  They should have had this years ago!"

nice list I agree with all of them except for me (I have the glossy screen) it is how hard it is to see with so much glare on the glossy finish.

If you live in the houston area I'd totally be willing to trade you for my overly matte finished tx2 =)

I'm good thanks, just have to find a way to work on reducing the glare via a screen protector or a pair of sun glasses. :-D
