220V Power Supply

I wonder:

- will IQ504 work in the countries with 220-230V power supply?
- in case of power surge, will the adapter fuse somehow and protect the whole system?

The IQ506t AC adapter is 110-240 autoswitching, I'd assume the 504 is the same.
