hi there,

im new to this forum and just got my first TX2z yesterday. I have a few questions if ppl can help me here.

here are my custom specs for the tx2z

2.3 zm ultra turionx2, vista 64, 320g hd, 4gig ram, lightscribe dvr, bluetooth, cam and fingureprint

How long does it usually take your system to boot up for the owners who have vista 64 on it. I mean from the point you log in till you can access a program with no lag. mine seems to take forever. my sister has the same tx2 with the same config but with vista 32 and hers boots up way faster than mines. any feed back on this. does vista 64 boots slower than vista 32. or something is wrong with my laptop. i did a factory restore on it and same thing. i just got this comp yesterday and its dissapointing. pls gv feedback

Mine doesn't have any boot problems, it boots decently fast, I've never timed it.

mine takes about 2.5 min to load after i log in. thats with norton removed. my sister takes about 1 min or a lil less running on vista 32

Wow, yeah I just timed mine. About 35 seconds from a cold boot.

Yes you can, though photoshop is irrelevant because there is a 64-bit version anyway
