Would the touch screen technology work with drafting programs such as AutoCAD and Microstation? Would it allow the user to make changes to drawings while functioning on screen as a mouse would?

I worked with AutoCAD for about 10 years. I don't think touchsmart with it's stylus is accurate enough. I just bought the HP touchsmart tx2 1025dx, and it's way too slow and the stylus jumps around too much. I tried using a Wacom tablet for a while because my hand would cramp after long hours of use, but it didn't work well. AutoCAD and Microstation (I used it some) also require a lot of information to be entered via the keyboard so that would restrict the use of a tablet pc also. On screen keyboards are too slow.
