I've been wondering the same thing. Haven't tried the NUI group but that was my next stop. If I have any luck I'll let you know. Otherwise lets get a thread on whats out there.
Where can i find some programs that use the multi-touch features on the TX2?
i checked Nui group but they their programs don't seem to recognize more than one touch. :(

Soon you'll be able to use Firefox with multi-touch: http://felipe.wordpress.com/2009/08/21/sneak-peak-on-multitouch-events/
I have the multi-touch piano from NUI group working. They have created a special "layer" for this purpose (run it with 'Disable Desktop Composition' in the Compatibility tab). All well documented on their forum except one trick: you need to add your piano folder to Flash's trusted list, otherwise you won't hear any sound:

I'm currently running Vista Business 32. Will I have to wait for Windows 7 to use the compatibility mode?
I think we'll start to see more multitouch apps arrive once windows 7 has been out for a while. Vista does not natively support multitouch so things like the touchsmart rely on special drivers to make double touch possible. Since win7 natively supports it, the technology should become more widespread. Also, as Microsoft Surface makes its debut, we shuld see lots more multitouch apps hitting the market (hopefully)
