Hi all,

First let me thank you for this forum, that helps asking questions. HP isn't in this point really customer friendly...

Here comes my story:

My "better part" bought a new TS IC522ch and naturally I have to install this machine.  So basically everything went great with the installation of vista. Then i had to test the Train Simulator (I really hate this game) and naturally it didn't work with vista64. So I browsed though the MSTS forums and basically haven't found a reasonable answer.

"On some vista64 it works on some it doesn't"

GREAT! Ok then is thought about installing vmWare with XP. All worked fine until I started MSTS.It started well, but thethe movement of the mouse was awful. SoI tried 98, no chance.

Then I found this forum and read about the:
http://www.touchsmartcommunity.com/forum/thread/448/Problem-running-Games/ /> and I tried this ou, nope same issue.

Finally I thought about a dual boot system. I tried my SATA XP version and I got a sweet blue-screen. Looks like the HD-driver not found. Ok back into the i-net and serched for the system data. No driver on HP, no driver on the manufaturer homepage.
I've added all the SATA drivers I could find on my image and still blue-screen.

I'm done with my latin and I really hope someone in here can help me. Else I will have to take the drive out and install XP on a different PC and hope it works on the TS. Sealed

An easier solution: Did you try running the game in XP 32 bit compatability mode?

yes i tried this one as well, no chance. The funny thing is when I installed new, the first time it worked. From then on no more chance.

Now I installed WinXP and all worked fine. But now booting up the BlueScreen comes again. Looks like HP was right not selling this product with XP...

Para,

Where did you find the SATA drivers for Windows XP?

I am glad you found them Para, but I have a similar situation.

thanks
