Hello everyone!

I am new here and I have some question about my tx2z.When the screen is running ,there is a strange sound coming from the mid-left part of my tx2z. And I think it comes from the video card because when i adjust the brightness the loudness will change. It sounds like the Current sound, not very loud but I can still hear it clearly when my room is quiet. And it happens on the one I have right now and the old one that I have exchanged. Is it normal. should i exchange it again?

Hope someone can answer my question. Thank you very much!

Are yo talking about a high pitched squeeling kind of sound? It could be coming from a failing capacitor on your motherboard, video card or LCD power inverter.

This sounds makes me crazy. Is there any solution to prevent this buzz sound coming from screen or capacitor. Then i turn of the lid, no sound..

I know this buzzing sound that you are talking about. If the screen brightness is set to 70% or higher the sound occurs. Setting screen brightness to 60% or lower might help, at least it does for my machine. Try it out by pressing the fn + f6 / f7 key.
So my guess is that the sound is driven by the backlight. Do you think this might be a problem that is serious enough to get the notebook replaced?

When it is silent, it is serious problem.. I love my laptop. superfast and good spec.. but i have to deal with buzz sound related the brightness..
