From my years of experience fixing computers, the most common cause of sticky keys is spilling something on the keyboard. Have you spilled or splashed anything on the keyboard?
Other casues could be that something got caught on the key and dislodged the spring mechanism under the key. With the laptop turned off, press down firmly (but not too hard) on the key and it should pop back into place.
If something was spilled on the keyboard, it can be repaired by removing the keyboard assembly and rinsing it with either distilled water or rubbing alcohol and letting it dry thoroughly before putting it back on the laptop.
My suggestio is that if it is not spill damage and it is still under warranty, try to get HP to repair it, especially if you don't feel comfortable with how I just told you how to fix it.
