You might try holding "Fn" at the bottom left of your keyboard while you tap the Print Screen button. Some laptops don't make the Print Screen button the default functionality.

hey there... I'm still new with this kind of laptop. Just got HP TouchSmart tx2-1020us. When i push the Print screen button and paste it to MS Word, it doesnt work at all. So,anyone of you know how to solve this prob??? - Lady Lyssa -

Yup, I have a TX2500 which is similar to the TX2. I agree with Andrew, you have to hold the Fn key down and hit the prt sc to get it to work.
