can you be more specific please? Which icons are you talking about? The "Tiles" in the Touchsmart program?

I've heard that the icons disappear after a while from all of the touching. Has anybody heard of this problem?

Actually, I am thinking about purchasing a touchsmart, but, one of my wife's co-workers said her son had a touchsmart, and, after a while, some of the icons began to fade, and dissapear. She wasn't specific, but, I assume she was referring to the home page, the house buttons, or any of the icons that you click on quite frequently. I love the looks, and design of the touchsmart, but, I'm leery of purchasing one after some of the problems some members have been having.

hmmm, not heard about that happening.
Also, take into consideration that this is a site where most people end up coming because they are looking for help. That is not representative of the TOTAL touchsmart experience. May of the problems have also been worked out here as well.
