Windows 7 is not final yet. If I were you I'd get in touch with Microsoft and report this as a bug. If you have the beta of Windows 7 you may want to download the Release Candidate (which is still not quite final code) and see if it behaves any differently.
I am having 2 problems with Media player
one is on SOME files with a .wmv extension it says:
" The file you are attempting to play has an extension (.wmv) that does not match the file format. Playing the file may result in unexpected behavior.
it will not play the file. this file worked fine on windows vista on a TX2000 even recently the computer i'm using now is a TX2 with windows 7 32 bit.
some other files will play video but no audio and still others work great?
This is aproblem because I need to show these files in Powerpoint.
If i use VLC Media player they work fine but I 'm trying to use the VLC Media player.
