I'm thinking of getting a Hp Touchscreen. Question: When you are on the web, are you able to expand the page you are viewing to cover the whole screen? If not, what's the point of anice big screen?

Internet Explorer has a fullscreen mode that you can try out by pushing F11 on the keyboard. Lots of websites limit themselves in how much space they cover inside the browser, though. So even if you make the browser window as large as possible, you may not get the site(s) to show up any differently.

One of the things I like about a "nice big screen" is the ability to balance my checkbook with the two programs I use to do it, ie7 for my banking page, and Windows LiveMail, where my Paypal emails come in from. You might use Quicken or MS Money instead, but it's nice to have the screen room to open 2 programs side by side and be able to see what you are doing on both of them at a reasonable font size so you can get some work done. You could tile 4 programs "Hollywood Squares" style. amd be able to accomplish tasks with good font sizing if need be, even on the smaller 22" 500 series TS PC if you want. I know, I do it all the time on my iq526. Most web pages are done in a grainy, low-res format to speed loading for people with slower internet connections, so you might not want to blow that jaggy mess up any bigger than you need to. There's my take, hope it helps you out.
