Im interested in buying HP TouchSmart IQ816t but i have couple of questions.

1. I would like to know about the monitor. Ok, i know it 25,5 inches etc. but what is it reaction time? brightness? contrast? i couldn't find any information about it.

2. the graphic card is strong, 512mb. thats good. so do I will be able to play good games (new games, like gears of war2, nfs underground etc) on it? or this card is to week?

thats all for now, as soon i will have more questions, i will give it here.

I don't really know the answer to #1, but I can tell you that the monitor looks great.

As for #2, you'll be able to play new games. It has 4GB of RAM, a Core 2 Duo, and, as you stated, a 512MB graphics card. I would guess that they should run without a problem on at least medium settings. You'll be able to run Crysis - that's kind of the benchmark game as of right now. Get that game if you want to see what your PC can do :D

If you are really into games I would be very informed before buy you any of these machines, They all, 500 through 800 series, use the same motherboard. If you find the 816 slow at games there will be nothing u can do about it.

The Video card is a Geforce 9600m (mobile)

They do preform well but remember they are just big Laptops.Check cnet or other reviews on the GeForce 9600M http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-9600M-GT.9449.0.html this link will tell you what you want to know (I think) best of Luck

the screen is great as far as I can tell, I am only comparing it to dell 24" and a 24" acer(crappy). No bad Pixels, Bright, Fast all the things I'd Expect. But I do not know the ""ms response time if that is what ur asking.

The screen specs on the IQ816 are as follows:

Colors 16.7 million
Color Gamut 92%
Native resolution 1920 x 1200 (16:10 aspect ratio)
Response time 5 ms
Contrast ratio 1000:1
Image brightness up to 400 nits
